30+ Advanced Thermal Treatment Projects
The technology development team behind IQ Energy has contributed to more than 30 Advanced Thermal Treatment projects across North America, Europe and the Middle East, supporting the development, commissioning, operation and optimisation of commercial facilities.
Advanced Demonstration Unit (G300)
A 7 dry tonnes/day G300 advanced demonstration pyro-gasifcation unit provided valuable operational experience and feedstock evaluation, helping validate the technology before commercial deployment.
Alberta Commercial Facility (G500)
Building on this experience, IQ Energy established its 12 dry tonnes/day Alberta Commercial Reference Facility to provide customers with a commercial operating environment for demonstrations, feedstock evaluation and project development.
Commercial Project Deployment
Today, IQ Energy continues supporting customers from concept through commercial deployment, drawing on practical operating experience and lessons learned throughout the technology's development.
G300 - Advanced Demonstration Unit
Before commissioning the Alberta Commercial Demonstration Facility, IQ Energy developed and operated a G300 Advanced Demonstration Unit capable of processing approximately 7 dry tonnes per day.
The unit played an important role in validating the G-Series platform generating operational experience that informed the design of today's commercial systems.

Alberta Commercial Reference Facility
Built around IQ Energy's G500 Pyro-Gasification platform, the Alberta Commercial Reference Facility has been developed as a fully operational commercial installation that continues to build operating experience while supporting future customer projects.
The facility demonstrates how Advanced Thermal Treatment integrates with the broader balance of plant, providing a practical operating environment that reflects commercial deployment.
